John Van Mol

John Van Mol is a founding partner of the public relations and advertising firm DVL Seigenthaler, a Finn Partners company serving regional and national clients from its Nashville, TN, office. The parent Finn Partners is a global PR firm based in New York.

 

John is a Knoxville, TN, native and journalism graduate of the University of Tennessee. His communications career includes a tour of duty for the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a public affairs officer, a writer and editor for The Associated Press, and director of PR for a major electric utility before the founding of DVL in 1980.

 

He is a past trustee of Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn., and a past chairman and board member of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nashville’s Downtown Partnership and Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee
