
Mark Ford, Executive Director
Mark Ford is Executive Director of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (NaSHOF), where he oversees strategic planning, fundraising, education, operations and brand development for the nonprofit.
He spearheads all phases of the organization’s hall of fame process – from nominating to balloting to election – and directs “Nashville Songwriting’s Most Legendary Night,” NaSHOF’s annual induction gala. He is the co-creator of Express Yourself, the organization’s middle-school educational outreach, as well as co-executive producer of the nationally distributed public television show, The Songwriters, and author of the forthcoming compilation The Right Three Minutes, showcasing stories from members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Prior to his appointment in 2013 as the Hall of Fame’s first executive director, the South Carolina native spent 23 years at the Nashville Songwriters Association International. He is an alumnus of Leadership Music (Class of 2015) and a graduate of Clemson University.
